Eligible residents are being urged to get their free Spring COVID-19 booster before the programme ends on 30 June

Important Spring vaccinations are still available across Greater Manchester until 30 June 2026. The free vaccine offers essential additional protection to those most at risk from serious illness.

Protection, either from catching the virus or from a previous vaccination can fade over time and the circulating strain of the virus can change, so ifyou are at higher risk of severe illness it is important that you top up your protection

Who is eligible in Greater Manchester

The spring booster is being offered to groups at higher risk from COVID-19.

  • Adults aged 75 and over, including those who will turn 75 by 30 June
  • Residents in care homes for older adults
  • People aged 6 months and over with a weakened immune system, including those undergoing certain treatments or with specific medical conditions

If you’re unsure about if you are eligible then speak to your GP.

How to book an appointment

Appointments can be booked until 29 June, with the latest appointment on 30 June. However the message is clear. Get vaccinated as soon as you can

You can book an appointment

  • Using the NHS App
