Important Spring vaccinations are still available across Greater Manchester until 30 June 2026. The free vaccine offers essential additional protection to those most at risk from serious illness.
Protection, either from catching the virus or from a previous vaccination can fade over time and the circulating strain of the virus can change, so ifyou are at higher risk of severe illness it is important that you top up your protection
Who is eligible in Greater Manchester
The spring booster is being offered to groups at higher risk from COVID-19.
- Adults aged 75 and over, including those who will turn 75 by 30 June

- People aged 6 months and over with a weakened immune system, including those undergoing certain treatments or with specific medical conditions
If you’re unsure about if you are eligible then speak to your GP.
