Winter vaccination van visiting Oldham

There are several important steps you can take to help protect yourself and your family this season. Get vaccinated.

During the colder months, viruses common in winter can make some people very unwell, potentially leading to serious health complications that may require hospital care. In some cases, these illnesses can even be life-threatening.

A mobile vaccination van will be visiting locations across Oldham this October, making it easier for local people to access their winter vaccinations.

The van can provide COVID-19 and flu vaccinations for people aged 18 and over. Some sessions may also be able to offer vaccinations to other age groups, including the children’s nasal flu vaccine.

All NHS vaccines have undergone rigorous testing to ensure their safety and effectiveness.

Where to find the van

  • Tuesday 20 October, 9am to 3pm: Age UK – Men in Sheds, Charles House, Albert Street West, Failsworth, M35 0JN
  • Friday 23 October, available during the day: Medlock Court, Medlock Way, Lees, Oldham, OL4 3LD
