Children’s Community Nursing Team
The Children’s Community Nurses are specially trained nurses who help families care for their child at home. We are part of the Tree House Children’s Centre.
They care for children aged 0–16 years at home so they can leave hospital sooner when it is safe to do so. Working with families, GPs and other health professionals to give support and advice, helping children get the care they need at home and avoid going into hospital where possible.
They also run a non-urgent clinic twice a week so children can be seen closer to home. They help children with many different conditions and illnesses.
