The service offers specialised care by Specialist Children’s Nurses for children aged 0 – 16 years who live in the Tameside and Glossop area.
The Children’s Community Nursing Team is comprised of experienced paediatric nurses who care for children in the home/community setting with a wide range of clinical specialties, medical, surgical, oncology, cardiology and neonatal and are supported by our admin team.
Our aim is to provide support, education, advice and nursing care in the home, where we can work alongside parents and children in partnership. In this way, the team can help your child and family to live as normal a life as possible
The Children’s Community Nursing Team work from 8am to 8pm 365 days of the year and are able to accept referrals from all members of the multidisciplinary team.
