Children’s Community Nursing Team
The Children’s Community Nursing Team (CCNT) gives specialist nursing care to children aged 0–16 years who live in the Tameside and Glossop area.
The team is made up of experienced children’s nurses and support staff. We care for children at home and in the community with many different health needs, including medical, surgical, cancer, heart and newborn care.
Their aim is to give support, advice, education and nursing care at home. They work closely with children and families to help children live as normal a life as possible.
The CCNT is available from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week, all year round.
Referrals can be made by any healthcare professional involved in a child’s care.
