NHS Greater Manchester is committed to the highest possible standards of honesty, openness and accountability and will not tolerate malpractice or wrongdoing.

We have published our ‘External Whistleblowing Policy‘ to allow people to come forward with information relating to any serious allegations of wrongdoing. This could involve the actions of our employees, contracts or any aspects of our activities.

The policy is aimed at people who don’t work for us. It has been designed to protect individuals who make disclosures regarding any instance of malpractice or wrongdoing and to investigate them in the public interest.

Our own staff should refer to our internal ‘Freedom to Speak Up’ and ‘Raising Concerns’ policy.

You can now read our ‘External Whistleblowing Policy’ online and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need to.
